Sonya L. Dennis, 41, of 17th Street, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance

Sonya L. Dennis, 41, of 17th Street, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance for having 5.9 grams of crack cocaine when police found her and another woman drinking in a parked car at Main and Niagara streets April 23.

Timothy S. Saunders, 44, of 22nd Street, was arrested Jan. 9 by Niagara Falls police, who reported finding more than 3 ounces of cocaine

Timothy S. Saunders, 44, of 22nd Street, was arrested Jan. 9 by Niagara Falls police, who reported finding more than 3 ounces of cocaine in his car on South Avenue. His sentencing date is Feb. 20.

Courtney T. Moragne, was sentenced for unlawful gun possession and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell

Courtney T. Moragne, 26, formerly of Pierce Avenue, was sentenced for unlawful gun possession and possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell, both felonies.
Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives worked on the case with Niagara Falls Police. Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard P. Maigret said Moragne was arrested with crack cocaine in June 2006, November 2006 and again in January 2007.Moragne also was found to be in possession of loaded firearms during both of the 2006 arrests, Maigret said. He pleaded guilty to criminal charges in May.
