Mark Johnson, Miguel Diaz

Mark Johnson, 46, on Jefferson Street, after observing him driving 60 mph in a 30 mph zone. Police said they arrested him after they found his license was suspended. When Johnson was searched, police said they found a straw with heroin residue and that Johnson also produced a package with 47 decks of heroin.
Johnson’s passenger, Miguel Diaz, 43, had five pills of Suboxone, a controlled substance, police said. Suboxone is used to treat opiate addiction.
Johnson, who was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, was held without bail. Diaz, charged with possession, a misdemeanor, was held on $1,000 bail.
