judge sentenced a Richmond man this week to up to six years in jail for dealing cocaine in 2009.

Deongelo G. Clinton, 715 S. E St., 26, will serve six years in prison and four years on probation after being convicted on two charges of dealing cocaine, both Class B felonies, according to court records. He could serve less time in prison for good behavior.

Clinton was credited with having already served one day in jail when he was arrested Oct. 21, 2009.

Wayne County Circuit Court Judge David Kolger sentenced Clinton to 10 years in prison with four years suspended on both felony charges. However, as terms of the sentencing, both terms can be served concurrently.

Clinton also was ordered to pay court costs and a $200 drug interdiction fee.
